Interconnection
Interconnection means the linking of physical and logical communications networks used by the service provider itself or from a number of service providers, to enable the agents of the service provider to communicate with each other or with customers belonging to another service provider, or access to services provided by another service provider. The interconnection between telecommunication networks provides users of these networks to communicate with each other.
The wages of service interconnection include costs of interconnection service, including the cost to end the call or short message on the network. It must not be confused between the wages of this interconnection and retail wages paid by the client to the service provider for a service or subscription.
The licensing agreements for operators include their commitment to the need for interconnection. The wages of interconnection based on the agreements between operators, and the operators needed a copy of the filing with NTC after it was signed in the case of lack of access to the agreement involved the imposition of wage interconnection away on the cost of connectivity.
