NTC usually sets and organizes the pricing of the telecommunications services according to the Telecommunications Law. This  pricing supervision by NTC of telecommunications services aims at providing the  services for  appropriate and reasonable price  according to the  market   competition rules . This is being done  by putting  standards and principles   the service not to be violated  by the service licensed  providers to  protect the telecommunications market from  any  harmful  pricing .

The telecommunications companies ( service Providers)   propose tariffs for  approval to  NTC, then it   studies  proposals  deliberately  before  any  approval .

The telecommunications Companies ( Providers)   have no right to making any  amendment ( up or down)  in the tariffs  without reference to NTC.
